Nancy Lohman is an active Daytona Beach area business woman. In partnership with her husband Lowell, their son Ty, and their brother Victor, the Lohman’s own and operate twelve funeral homes and cemeteries.Nancy served two years as President of the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce and two years as President of the Ormond Beach Historical Society. Nancy serves as a board member for the Daytona Beach Symphony Society, is a member of the Halifax Civic League, Kiwanis Club of Ormond Beach and The First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach.

SRX-Goodbye for now.../ November 10, 2009- SRX-it's been great! Yesterday I realized just how much I love the little things about the SRX....the quiet ring reminder to fasten your seat belt (as opposed to the loud clanging in most cars), and the beautiful, comfortable ride. I took my husband to the doctor, lunch and a few different pharmacies...he just had rotator cuff surgery. Trust me....he really liked (and needed) the quiet, smooth ride, too. This morning I am rushing off to the dealership and then to the airport for a noon flight. Saying goodbye to the SRX is going to be very hard...maybe it just might be a temporary goodbye for now!! Relaxed in my SRX/ November 09, 2009- Yesterday, Sunday, I ran a few errands. Turned out I needed to stay pretty close to home because my husband was still reconvering from his Friday shoulder surgery (rotator cuff). He is doing better now. Yesterday when I went to pick up a few things for him, I really appreciated the quiet ride of the SRX and the wonderful sound system. I listened to relaxing watercolors on XFM and really love the graphics and information on the plasma/lcd screen while it's playing. What a luxury ride! Bye for now, NancyREAD MORE

Shopping with the SRX!/ November 07, 2009- The SRX is designed to shop! I love the automatic hatchback; especially how it closes with a click of a button both on the hatchback door as well as on the remote! And the privacy screen across the back that hides all the packages and work related things, ie my laptop, is a great feature...it let's you hop from place to place without giving a second thought to the security of your things. I SEE THE LIGHT...HEADLIGHTS!!/ November 06, 2009- Alan and Reno were right!! The headlights on the SRX are so neat as they turn with you at slow speeds! And the camera on the rear of the SRX that shows you on your plasma/lcd screen on the dash what's behind you as you back up is also very cool! And here's another "wow feature" I just tried, thanks to our friend Alan at the dealership.....when I approached my SRX , I continously held the unlock button (don't let go, hold it down for about 5 seconds) then all four of the power windows went down at once...what a great feature to have here in Florida along with the huge sunroof that opens above both the front and the back seats! SRX is Home Sweet Home!!!/ November 06, 2009- The 2010 SRX should looks good in the driveway! And, it certainly needs a rest.....we had a full day. Our son, Ty, checked out our new SRX today while he was with Lowell and me around lunchtime. He was very imprressed. Of course, the first thing he commented on were the chrome rims - which are beautiful. And, (thank you, Ty) he lobbied his dad to let me get a new car (the SRX!) !  Lowell, in the front passenger seat , got to see first hand what I meant when I described how great the dash board is and especially the plasma/lcd screen. They both loved the car! Lowell was enthusiastic even though he had surgery this morning (I think the FL Hospital valet parking attendants liked the SRX, too!) and so he also appreciated the smooth ride.  We're home now; but I may have to slip out to the store for him this evening....and I sure know I'll be riding in style!
