All at the Push of a Button/ November 21, 2009- As drove the SRX today, I just kept thinking how so much convenience and coolness comes from a push of a button in this car! As I worked event set-up today I had so much stuff to load and unload and load and unload and it was so nice each time to just push the button of the power liftgate! Push the button and the car starts! (my boys think that is really cool!). Push the button and the car turns off. Push the button and the huge sun roof just peels back! Push the "button" and the cup holder gets deeper to accommodate a bigger drink! (I'm all about cup holders so I really liked this feature.) Now if only they could design a feature at my house where all I have to do is push a button and my house is clean! What I really love about this car is how it has many of the good qualities of an SUV (plenty of cargo space, you sit up high) but it doesn't feel like an oversized tank of a car. It drives like a sporty car and has such luxurious interiors. READ MORE

The Passengers Were Wowed!/ November 20, 2009- Had a great time today with the SRX! Such a smooth drive! It feels so safe as you drive it but yet totally sporty. Has a lot of muscle within its luxuriousness! I really love how it handles the road. The sun roof is amazing on this car - it is HUGE! It gives you all the "outdoor" air and feel you want but just the right amount of breeze/wind. You really don't need the windows down - the sunroof does it all. I am so happy my event this week is all the way in Clearwater because driving over the Courtney Campbell bridge is just awesome in this car! Makes the "commute" a positive expereince! I picked up my friend Darla today and she loved it! Couldn't believe all the bells & whistles! But then the rave reviews really came when I took my 2 favorite little guys - Evan and Jackson for a ride! The minute I got home tonight I was greeted by "Mama's home - let's go in the Caddy"! It was hysterical. So of course we went for a ride - Evan proclaimed "this is the most awesome car I've ever seen" as we whizzed around South Tampa on a glorious night with the HUGE sun roof down. Jackson said I "made his heart super-happy" - yeah these boys were hooked! Continue to look for excuses to use the Blue Tooth phone technology - calling anyone and everyone as I drive. Such a cool feature! READ MORE

First Day/ November 19, 2009- Hey! What a fun afternoon! I felt the excitement of getting a new car today (well almost!). Drove over to Dimmitt Cadillac in Clearwater and dropped of my big, messy, kids-seat stained SUV for an absolute beautiful, luxurious and sporty SRX!! I felt like a new person! Sat in the front seat and just went "Ahhhhhh". It was like walking into a Ritz Carlton! Just sooooo nice! But hey, I'm in the event business so it's also gotta have some function! Right away we put it to the test by loading (2) 7' rolls of red carpet and (1) 5' roll of red carpet plus my HUGE "event bag" and a bunch of other event supplies and it all fit beautifully! And what a breeze to load with the power liftgate! I am loving that feature!!! How many times do I have my hands overflowing with stuff...while trying to manual lift my heavy liftgate of my own car - that is such a pain. So this was awesome. Just a simple push of a button and up it goes. So smooth. Oh, and to close, all you do is push a button too! Love that!! All of this and I hadn't even drove off the Dimmitt lot yet! Once on US 19, my cell phone rang and I got to experience the Blue Tooth technology! WOW! So cool. Just touched the touch screen to answer and then I just talked and drove...as if the person calling was sitting in the car with me. I really, really love that. It's like the first time you vacuum with a cordless! Just so much easier! Also the reception was fantastic for both me and the caller so not only is it a true convenience and much safer but the technology really works on it. Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at the event doing set-up but couldn't wait to be done so I could drive the car again! It was truly a pleasure driving home! I just wish it hadn't been so late at night b/c I wanted to call all my friends and family so I could use the blue tooth - but it was late and I was afraid I'd wake everybody up. Couldn't wait to get home to show Christian! READ MORE
