About Me
Dr. Becky Oliphant has lived in DeLand for the past 14 years. She is a professor at Stetson University and mother to Patrick 15 and Christopher 13. She is active at her son's school being on both the SAC committee and sponsor of a girls book club which is reading all the Harry Potter books in order. Becky loves to travel and has been to China, Japan, Austria, Italy, The Neatherlands, Germany and France just this year alone. She and her husband Gary just celebrated their 30th wedding aniversary. For her 50th birthday she went skydiving and took her family to New Zealand and Fiji. Becky enjoys her job at Stetson and loves her students, both graduate and undergraduate. In her spare time she enjoys walking and doing research on new places to visit.
Love the GPS/ November 07, 2009- Gotta love the built in GPS. Also the seat cooling feature is really nice. Always saw the seat warming but being in Florida the cooling is a great addition.READ MORE

Oh no!/ November 07, 2009- Ok I broke the car. Well not really I drained the battery. At 10:00 p.m. someone from Cadillac came (no problem at all) and jump started the vehicle. Everyone was very nice in helping me get the car started again. It was my fault but I am not telling what I did yet. Wait for the next blog.READ MORE

My son and friend/ November 07, 2009- Here goes again with my son. He is now invitind his friends to come and just "sit" in the car to feel it. I spent 15 minutes with my son and his friend explaining how everything works. They are both almost 14 and starting to look ahead at where the "hope" to be someday. Driving a Cadillac is the way to go they both decided. READ MORE

driving here/ November 07, 2009- Ok sorry I did not post for awhile. I have had very spotty interntet but all is well now. I drove the car to Ft. Myers Florida or should I say the car drove me. How nice it was to be in such a nice, quiet ride while listeing to my sirrius radio playing songs from my past. I hope the people in the other cars did not see my jamming out to The Beatles, Rolling Stone, Aerosmith. It is one thing to do when you are in your teens but a more more mature adult........ Oh well, it was really fun. READ MORE

My son/ November 05, 2009- I picked up my son from boy scouts last night and he was so excited about driving in such a nice car. He would not get out when we got home. He insisted on doing his homework in the car.!READ MORE
